How to Run Snow Leopard on VirtualBox
VirtualBox is an open-source virtual machine hypervisor designed to run guest operating systems concurrently on a host operating system. As of the publication date, Apple's Snow Leopard Server is the only version of Mac OS X licensed for running on a virtual machine hypervisor such as VirtualBox. You can run Snow Leopard on VirtualBox by installing VirtualBox on your Mac, then configuring a new virtual machine to support Snow Leopard Server.

Download, install and run VirtualBox for Mac OS X.

Insert the Mac OS X Snow Leopard Server installation disc into the disc drive.

Create a new virtual machine. Click to select "OS X Snow Leopard" for the operating system.

Install Snow Leopard Server into the virtual machine. The virtual machine automatically restarts and runs Snow Leopard Server after the installation is complete.

Tips & Warnings
VirtualBox must be run on an Apple computer running Mac OS X. The installation of Snow Leopard Server is not licensed for Windows or Linux hosts.
Snow Leopard Server runs slower in a virtual machine than natively.
