How to Search Skype Chat on a Mac
If you need to refer to something that was typed in Skype chat on a Mac, you can find it using Apple's "Command-F" find command. You can do this while you are chatting someone or going back to your chat history if the chat session has already been closed. Because the chat window automatically redirects you to the bottom of the chat window whenever new text has been entered, it can be difficult to scroll through a chat history while the chat is still live. In these cases you can copy the chat into TextEdit and scan the history even if your friend is still chatting.
