How to Make a Title for Tumblr

The style and content of a Tumblr blog is controlled by a cascading style sheet (CSS) working in tandem with HTML and PHP. To help users lacking experience in writing HTML or PHP, Tumblr provides users with a customization interface for making adjustments to the appearance of their blogs. The interface includes an option for adding a title to your Tumblr blog.

Instructions

1. Navigate to Tumblr.com, type the email address and password associated with your Tumblr blog in the corresponding text fields and press "Enter."

2. Click the dashboard drop-down menu in the right sidebar and click the blog you want to edit.

3. Click "Customize" in the right sidebar.

4. Click "Info" in the menu bar along the top of the window.

5. Click the "Title" text field and type a title for the name of your Tumblr blog. Click "Save and Close" to exit the Tumblr blog customization interface.
