How to End a Rhinestone Chain

The fastest, cleanest and simplest way to end a rhinestone chain is with a rhinestone chain end. They are sold with rhinestone chain or beads and can be secured to the end of a rhinestone chain similar to the way each other links attach to one another. Some chain ends must be secured by bending prongs around the last rhinestone on the chain, and other connectors are be secured by bending metal tabs around the chain between rhinestones.

      Insert the last rhinestone on the chain --- stone up --- into the chain end. Gently squeeze the prongs of the chain end down to secure them around the rhinestone with a pair of flat needle-nosed pliers

      Position the chain end connector so the clasp is between the last two rhinestones on the chain. Line up the connector clasp between the two stones. Use flat needle-nose pliers to fold down the sides of the clasp to secure it to the chain.

      Attach a clasp to the other end of the chain.
