How to Install Bluetooth on the Canon I80

The Canon I80 printer is a small inkjet printer designed for portability. Its primary purpose is to be taken alongside laptops for printing documents. Normally, this requires a cable to be connected between the source and printer, limiting its use to laptops. However, with the I80 Bluetooth adapter connected, any Bluetooth-compatible device, such as PDAs, smartphones and tablet PCs, can also have documents printed out using the printer.

Instructions

1. Remove the USB cable from the printer's USB port.

2. Insert the Bluetooth adapter into the USB port on the back of the Canon I80 Printer.

3. Plug in and turn on the computer. Allow a few minutes for the printer to be usable. You'll know when the plug is ready when the "Power" light on the printer flashes twice.

Tips & Warnings

• Be sure to stay within 30 feet of the printer while printing via Bluetooth. Walls and large objects will reduce the printer's usability distance.
