How to Dispose of Ritual Candles
Candles are used in a variety of different types of rituals. Many such rites make use of candles because their flames provide an excellent visual for the person performing the ritual as a representation of their main purpose. While some candles are strictly religious and some are not, when being used in a ritual such candles may need to be disposed of properly. If you find yourself performing a ritual that requires the candles to be disposed of afterwards, you can do so using a simple method.

1
Allow the candles being used in the ritual to completely burn themselves out in order to ensure the ritual's success. Wait until the melted wax has cooled and hardened.
-
2
Gently pry the hardened wax away from its holder or the surface it was sitting on using a metal scraper. Stick the edge of the metal scraper beneath the wax and push up to lift it away. Place all the wax pieces into a plastic bag and seal it.

3
Place the bag that contains the wax chunks into a trash source that is not inside your house or on your property.
