How to Make Another AOL Screen Name

AOL users can sign up for multiple accounts if they need a second instant messaging account or email address for business or leisure. There's no cost for additional accounts, but you will need separate secondary email addresses to use with additional AOL screen names. You can sign up for additional screen names directly through AOL instant messenger. When using multiple screen names you can even log into multiple accounts at one time.

Instructions

1. Click "Options" from the buddy list. Choose "Sign off" to log out of your AOL Instant Messenger account.

2. Click "New User" on the AIM window. Fill out all required fields including name, user name and password. Verify your account through your email address.

3. Log in using your new user name and password to add your buddies.
