1
Do not pry into your old friends' business. If they do not feel comfortable telling you aspects of their life, then you should not worry about it. Tell your friends you are here for them no matter what. Never ask other people about aspects of your old friends' personal life.

2
Never gossip. Gossip often leads to drama among friends. Never speculate or talk about another person's actions to anyone. Tell your friends not to gossip in front of you. If you politely ask them to not gossip, a good friend will respect your wishes.

3
Never rely on what other people tell you. If you hear that someone is spreading lies or rumors about you, ignore them. Talk in a polite and respectful way to the person who is purportedly spreading falsehoods. If a conflict occurs, attempt to maturely discuss the issue causing drama. Never get upset and never resort to name-calling or spreading your own rumors.

4
Avoid people who cause drama. If an old friend will not stop gossiping or causing drama, simply avoid them. It is better to not spend time with an old friend rather than deal with the stress of conflict.
