How to Delete Apple Widgets
Apple's Mac OS X operating system features a Dashboard application that runs in the background. The Dashboard serves as a layer that contains widgets or small floating applications that you can quickly interact with. Launching the Dashboard application reveals this layer and brings up all the active and usable widgets. Delete any unneeded Apple widgets that you previously downloaded to clear space so you can add other widgets to better suit your preferences.
