How to Insert an HTML Code Into a Gmail Signature

As is the case with other popular email provides like Hotmail and Yahoo!, Gmail allows you to create a custom signature you attach at the bottom of all outgoing email messages. To afford you the ability to fully customize your signature, Gmail allows you to insert HTML code into your email signature in addition to the non-coded formatting options it gives you.

Instructions

    • 1

Copy the HTML code you want to insert into your signature if it's too long or complex to remember and type in once you access Gmail. Highlight the code, then right-click on it and click "Copy."

    • 2

Navigate to Gmail and sign in to your account. Click the "Gear" icon in the upper righthand corner and click "Mail Settings."

    • 3

Scroll down to the "Signature" pane. Click your mouse inside the field, then right-click and click "Paste" to paste your HTML code in. Scroll down to the very bottom of the page and click "Save Changes."
