How to Remove Nagios in Ubuntu
Nagios, a Linux-based network monitor, watches servers, connections, computers and user activity and reports it on computers running Linux-based operating systems such as Ubuntu. It can find any problems with your network so you can fix them. However, if there's a problem running Nagios, or you need to upgrade the software, you can remove the program from Ubuntu.

Click the "System" button on your Ubuntu desktop, click "Administration," then click "Synaptic Package Manager."

Click the "Nagios" icon from the list of packages that appear. You may need to scroll down a bit to see it.

Click the "Mark for removal" button in the Package Manager Window.

Close the window to remove the package.
