The ATM is one place you can make a deposit at Wachovia banks.

Wachovia banks are a part of the Wells Fargo family of banks. Each Wells Fargo and Wachovia bank across the country has its own business hours; not all banks are open at the same hours. If you want to make a deposit to your bank after 4 p.m., you first have to ensure that the Wachovia branch you want to make your deposit at is open. Deposits usually post to your account the same day you make your deposit prior to the cutoff time, which is different at each location. If you cannot find a Wachovia location open past 4 p.m. you can make your deposit through a Wachovia ATM.

Instructions

  1. Bank Deposits

    • 1

Go to any Wachovia location and decide whether to go inside the bank or through the drive-thru lanes.

    • 2

Write your deposit information on a deposit slip for the account where you want your funds deposited. Write the date and the amount of each check and/or cash you are depositing on the correct lines.

    • 3

Give your checks and/or cash and deposit slip to the teller at the bank. Wait while your fund deposit and take your deposit slip receipt. If your bank's cutoff time is after 4 p.m. your funds are available immediately; if the cutoff time is prior to 4 p.m., your funds are not available until the following business day.

    ATM Deposit

    • 4

Place your ATM card into the Wachovia ATM machine and enter your personal identification number, or PIN. If your deposit is made prior to 8 p.m. it is available the same business day.

    • 5

Push the correct button for deposits and enter your checks and/or cash into the machine. The ATM machine prints photos of each check and all of the cash you deposit for your records.

    • 6

Stay until the ATM counts your checks and/or cash and confirm that the amount of the deposit is correct. Remove your card from the machine and take your photo receipt.
