How to Update Facebook Based on Twitter
Keeping up with different social networking sites can be time consuming. Save time by cross-posting your tweets from Twitter onto your Facebook News Feed. Although some people use both Twitter and Facebook regularly, your friend networks may be different on each site. Choose to update your personal Facebook page or your business's fan page based on your Twitter posts to keep all your contacts in the loop.

Log into your Twitter account. Although you initiate the cross-posting process through Facebook, you must be logged in to Twitter for the initial set-up.

Open a new tab or window in your browser. Log into your Facebook account.

Navigate to the Facebook Twitter Application page. It will automatically search for a Twitter account that you are logged into.

Click "Allow" when Facebook asks you to connect with Twitter.

Post a new tweet on Twitter, then check your Facebook page to verify the post appears in your News Feed.

Tips & Warnings
Your Twitter posts will appear only in your Facebook News Feed. To use different areas of Facebook, such as sending messages or posting photos to albums, you must be directly logged in to Facebook.
