How to Make a Music Symbol on MSN

When chatting to other people, you can use a range of images to relay certain emotions and ideas to other users . One of the images you can send to other users is a music symbol. This is generally used to state that you are listening to music or that you have typed some music lyrics into the text box.

Double-click on your MSN Messenger program icon.

Type in your email address and password. Click on "Sign In."

Double-click on the friend you would like to have the conversation with to open up the conversation window.

Click on the text box at the bottom of the conversation window.

Type in "(8)" and press "Enter" on your keyboard. This will send the music symbol to the other user.
