How to Make a Shark Icon on Facebook
While emoticons make online chat more fun, the same smiley faces can get boring after a while. On Facebook you are not limited to the standard happy faces, frowns and heart shapes. Try more unusual icons, such as the shark, to get your point across or just to amaze your less-experienced friends. Whenever you use an emoticon on Facebook chat, a corresponding graphic will appear in the chat window.

Log in to your Facebook account. Click the minimized Facebook chat window on the lower right of the page.

Click the name of a friend who is online to whom you want to send a shark emoticon.

Type the characters "(^^^)" minus the quotation marks in the chat box. Press the "Enter" key to send the shark image to your friend.
