How to Make a MobileMe Contacts Backup
One of the conveniences of having a paid account with Apple's MobileMe service is being able to access your contacts list from anywhere as long as you have an Internet connection. This also means that if you lose or damage your computer or your mobile device, you can use MobileMe to create a backup of your contacts list. MobileMe specifically lets you export a backup of your contacts from the website -- which is particularly useful when you don't have your computer anymore.

Navigate to Me.com and log in to your account.

Click the cloud icon in the top-right corner and then click "Contacts."

Click the gear icon in the top-right corner of your "MobileMe Contacts" page. Click "Select All."

Click the gear icon again and then click "Export vCard." The vCard file will automatically download to a computer. If you are on a Mac, Address Book will open automatically and ask if you want to import. Click "Cancel" if you want to skip this step.
