How Can I Post to Craigslist?
Craigslist is a popular website for viewing and posting classified listings for jobs, sales, personals and other miscellaneous subjects. Though not the prettiest looking website, it is simple to navigate and understand. To post to Craiglist, it is recommended, and sometimes required, that you create a free account. Though not all sections require an account, having one helps you to manage and make edits to posted listings.

Open the craigslist.org website. Click "My Account." Log in to your Craigslist account by entering you email address and password. If you don't have a Craigslist account, click the "Sign up for an Account" link at the bottom of the log in page. You'll be prompted to enter an email address, a verification code and phone number to verify the account. Craigslist will send you a text or call with the confirmation code you will need to enter to verify the account.

Click "Post to Classifieds." Select the type of posting, such as sale or job listing. Select the category for the posting. Select the general area you want to post the add. Select a more specific location.

Enter a title for the posting. Enter the body text for the add in the "Posting Description" box. Click "Hide" if you intend to put a phone number to be contacted at in the add or click "Anonymize" to receive email responses. To add an image, click the "Add/Edit Images" button.

Click "Continue." View the add as it will be displayed to others. If it looks OK, click "Continue" or click "Edit Again" to edit the add some more. Enter the verification code and click "Continue" to post the add.
