How Can I See Past Conversations on AIM?
The AOL Instant Messenger program, known as AIM, has a chat logging feature that stores all of your instant messenger conversations in a chat log file. You can access these chat records whenever needed. The chat logs are stored in files on your computer, so you can also keep a backup of these log files, should you need to move them to a different computer.

Open AOL Instant Messenger. Log in to your account.

Press "F7" to bring up the AIM settings window.

Select the "IM Archives" section.

Click "View Archives" to see all of your chat logs.
