How to Make a Caduceus Symbol
The caduceus symbol, two snakes around a winged staff, often represents medical services. The symbol originated with the Greek god Hermes, who was often depicted carrying the staff. It is associated with medicine because of its similarity to a related symbol, the rod of Aesculapius. Aesculapius, son of Apollo, was the Greek god of healing, and his rod shows a single serpent coiled around a staff. You can insert the caduceus into any application using Windows alt codes.
