LabCorp is an independent clinical testing facility that provides doctors and patients access to laboratory tests without being connected to a hospital. While the majority of LabCorp’s test results are sent directly to your healthcare provider, the LabCorp website does allow patients access to Pap test results, if the healthcare provider has elected to participate in this program. Only normal results are reported through this portal. Any other results are only reported to the healthcare provider, and it is up to them to notify the patient of the results. Test results are usually available on the LabCorp website approximately 10 business days after your doctor’s appointment.
Things You'll Need
- Social Security number
- Date of birth
- Date of your doctor’s appointment
Go to the LabCorp website.
Select “I Am a Patient.”
Hold the mouse pointer over “Results.”
Select “Pap Results” from the drop down menu.
Enter your Social Security number, date of birth and the date of collection. The latter is the day of your appointment.
Read the test results reported. If your test was normal, you will see the phrase, “Negative for intraepithelial lesion or malignancy.” If the test was anything other than normal, no test results will appear and you will be instructed to contact your doctor during normal business hours.
