How to Make Garlic Oil at Home
Garlic oil is a robust, flavorful oil that makes an ideal addition to savory dishes. Use it to dress salads, cook meat or vegetables, or flavor pasta dishes. Although you can find garlic oil in most specialty food stores, making it at home is a breeze. You can easily make garlic oil by infusing extra-virgin olive oil with garlic cloves. Place the garlic cloves and olive oil in a small saucepan and bring to a boil.

Reduce the heat to low and continue cooking until the garlic is lightly browned, about 5 to 10 minutes.

Remove the saucepan from heat and allow to cool.

Remove the garlic cloves from the oil with a slotted spoon.

Pour the oil into a jar or airtight container. Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.

Tips & Warnings
Garlic-infused poses a botulism threat. If any of the ingredients begin to spoil, immediately discard the oil.
