How to Take Down Craigslist Postings
Posting on Craigslist may lead to the result you were seeking. In the process, however, it can also lead to an inbox full of junk mail and irrelevant replies. Deleting your post, unfortunately, is not as simple and straightforward a process as you might expect. You cannot simply navigate to the post in question and click a "Delete" button. This holds true even if you are logged into the account which you used to make the post.

Tips & Warnings
If you originally posted less than 48 hours before you deleted your posting, you can recover and repost it. Craigslist provides you with the necessary link to do this after you click the final "Delete" button.
You can delete your posting from within your account page if you have one. Click "My account" on Craigslist's home page and sign in if you have not already done so. Click "Manage" beside the post you wish to delete. Click "Delete this Listing" and proceed as described in the steps.
