How to Become a Rogue in "Ragnarok"
The Rogue class in "Ragnarok Online" is one of two upgrade paths available to the basic "Thief" class -- the other being the "Assassin" class. You cannot just become a rogue, however. You will have to attain a certain job level in the thief class and then search out a rogue recruiter. You will have to complete several quests once you speak to the recruiter in order to become a rogue and gain access to the rogue's guild.

Attain job level 10 with the thief class, then travel to the Faros Lighthouse Island (map coordinates 196, 117).

Speak to Markie the recruiter. She will test your knowledge with a series of questions. She will tell you to speak to Mr. Smith to receive your initiation quests once you pass her test.

Speak to Mr. Smith. He will give you a series of quests you must complete. The first quest involves paying 10,000z and collecting one of three sets of items.

Collect all the items and return to Mr. Smith. He will tell you to deliver the items to a non-player character (NPC) randomly selected from a pool of three characters. He will also give you a password to give the NPC.

Deliver the items to the specified NPC, then speak to the NPC to receive the last quest. You must walk down an underground passage and run down a monster-infested corridor to get to the Rogue's Guild. You will be made a first level rogue once you reach the guild.
