How to Get an HP With Mage in WoW

The mage class in "World of Warcraft" has many survival tools, but it does not have much in the way of defense. Mages use cloth armor, so increasing the mage's hit points provides an extra line of defense during game play. You can increase the HP of your mage by focusing on stamina on your equipment, enchanting for stamina and using stamina flasks.

Instructions

    • 1

Loot or purchase equipment with high stamina value. The stamina stat does nothing except for adding to your hit points, and no other stat available can give you additional HP. The more hit points you have, the more damage you can withstand from monsters or other players.

Enchant your armor with +stamina or +hp enchantments. You can increase the stamina value of your armor with the +stamina enchant, or just use the +hp enchantment to directly add hit points to your pool. You can purchase the enchants on a scroll through the auction house, enchant your equipment yourself if you have enchanting as a trade skill, or find an enchanter in your guild or in trade chat.

Drink Flask of Steelskin to increase your stamina by 450 for an hour. Flasks are unlike potions and elixirs in that the flask buff does not get erased when you die. It stays on until the one hour time period has elapsed.
