How to Put a Mod in "GTA: San Andreas" Without the Mod Installer
A video game "Mod" is a downloadable modification that you can add to the game after it has been released. Mods for GTA San Andreas allow you to add new weapons, cars, clothes and more. Mods are created by gamers who are capable of making these mods and want to add something to the game, so mods are not affiliated with the game manufacturer. Since these mods are made by different people, there are varieties and many different ways of installing them. Some mods are very basic and do not have their own installer so they require a separate installer, called a "Mod Installer." Other mods, however, are capable of being installed on their own without requiring a mod installer.

Visit the GTA Gaming website linked in the reference section. Select the category of the mod you want to download and install. There are thousands of different mods to choose from throughout the many categories.

Look through the category of your mod and find the mod you want. Click "Download" for the mod you want. A small download menu appears with the progress of your download. Let the download finish and double-click it. The mod opens on its own without requiring the "Mod Installer" program.

Follow the onscreen instructions for the mod. The mod installs on its own. Start your game and enjoy your new mods.
