How Do I Turn Guests' Voice on in a Ustream Chat?
Ustream allows users to work together with other live broadcasters as co-hosts. While there may be some initial reservations about having a co-host on their channel because they can't directly control the content, the benefits can outweigh the risks. While you cannot control what your co-host says or does on camera, you do have control of the audio and video feeds for your channel, and you can cut off your co-host at any time. Additionally, co-hosting can introduce a new audience to your show, and you might find the co-hosting dynamic to be more enjoyable than working alone.

Login to your Ustream account and click your hyper-linked user name to go to your account page.
-
2
Press the "Manage My Channel" button on the left-hand side of the screen.

Press the "Advanced Settings" tab. Choose between either "Always Allow Co-Hosting" or "Ask Before Allowing Co-Hosting." There is a third option for "Never Allow Co-Hosting," but this will forbid guests from speaking in your streams. If you choose "Ask Before allowing Co-Hosting," users will be able to submit co-hosting requests, and you must approve them before they may co-host with you.

Tips & Warnings
It is a good idea to set up the date and time of your co-hosting in advance. Also, be advised that if you always allow co-hosting, people could (although it is unlikely) pull you into a co-hosting situation on a whim.
Be advised, if you are also recording your stream, it will not record the stream of your co-host.
