How to Get Your Relationship Moving Faster
While some people like to take it slow and steady in a relationship, others, perhaps in a hurry to silence the ticking of their biological clocks, wish to move more rapidly through their relationships. If you have found yourself ready to commit and eager to move forward with your relationship, you might be desirous of moving more rapidly toward matrimony. Though there are risks to moving too quickly, including scaring your partner off, with effort, you may be able to speed up your romantic affair.

1
Assess your partner's willingness to step on the accelerator. Before you try to rush your relationship, it is advantageous to consider whether your partner feels the same. If your girl seems to be dragging her feet or avoids discussions about the future, she may not be amenable to your attempts to push your relationship forward. If your partner doesn't seem as eager to move forward as you do, trying to move faster will likely backfire.

2
Be honest about what you want. If you have decided that you want to move more quickly, tell your partner. While it may seem odd to approach your boyfriend and tell him that you are eager to move quickly in your relationship, doing so is certainly better than suddenly moving forward to warp speed without give him a reason as to why you are doing so.

3
Discuss time frames with your partner. When you make the decision to move more quickly through your relationship, you will likely have some time frames in mind. If you have decided that you would like to be engaged in the next two years or you hope to have children by the time you are 30, tell your partner this so she can determine the degree to which these plans align with her own.

4
State your reasons for rushing. If you have a particular reason for wanting to move more quickly, don't keep it a secret. By telling your partner why you are rushing in the relationship, you can make your accelerated speed less mysterious and allow him to understand your motivation.
