How to Make Poultices
A poultice is a herbal remedy that is placed on the skin. The theory behind poultices is that the skin will absorb the herbs. Most poultices are intended to help speed the healing process and cut down on infection. They can help muscles relax, increase blood flow, remove toxins and reduce inflammation. You can use both fresh and dry herbs for poultices. Before creating your own poultices, discuss the ingredients with a doctor who specializes in herbal medicine.
