How Do I Automatically Forward Email to My Groupwise Account?

Forward your email to your Groupwise email account.

If you have an email account with a mainstream email program, then you can forward it so that your messages automatically are sent to your Groupwise email account. You must have a functioning Groupwise email account to accomplish this task. Mainstream emailing formats such as Yahoo, Hotmail and Gmail all have forwarding functions.

Instructions

1. Log onto your email account.

2. Open up a new email message.

3. Click the "Settings" or "Options" button on your email format toolbar. In Yahoo, you will need to upgrade to Yahoo Plus, which costs a certain amount of money per month to forward mail. Click "Options," "More Options," and "POP & Forwarding." In Gmail, click "Settings" and "Add new email address."

4. Type the Groupwise email account into the section indicated. Your email format may send a verification email to the Groupwise account. Check your Groupwise account and click the verification email.

5. Return to your email account. For example, in Gmail, you need to select "Forward a copy of incoming mail to" and then click on your Groupwise account from the menu that drops down. Click "Save."
