How to Get a Girl to Text Back When She Doesn't

You are always waiting for her text message.

Women often are reliable communicators, so it may come as a surprise if a girl does not text you back during a conversation. There may be many reasons for her lack of a response, but you are disconcerted by her behavior nonetheless. You can use a few different methods to try and get her to respond back to your texts.

Instructions

1. Wait. It is natural for a girl to want to take things slowly. She might not text back in fear of seeming overeager, or she could be busy. If the text message you sent her was not urgent, then give her at least 24 hours to respond to it.

2. Send a text to her with a message that requires a response. Try asking her a question, preferably about something only she can answer for you. This might not guarantee that she will text you back, but the likelihood of her doing so is high.

3. Call her or speak to her in person. Ask her why she didn't respond to your text, and politely ask her to send you a text message back the next time you message her. Women appreciate honesty and openness about feelings. If you approach her with your concerns, she will appreciate that her lack of a response affected you.

4. Be realistic about your expectations. It is not possible to make someone do something she does not want to do. She might not want to continue communication with you and doesn't know how else to make that point clear except by ignoring your texts.
