How do I Use a Fortec Star Lifetime Receiver on Dish Home Channel 100?
Customarily, Fortec Star Lifetime receivers are designed for use in FTA (free-to-air) satellite setups. As a result, most people who have a Fortec Star Lifetime receiver will use it to capture signals from non-encrypted broadcast satellites. However, you can purchase a Fortec receiver that has a built-in decoder for Dish Network, which will allow you to set up your receiver for use with the Dish Network Home Channel 100 service.
