Add notes to the Sony Reader using the included stylus pen.

Use the stylus with the Sony Reader to write notes freehand on the touchscreen. The "Options" menu includes a number of way to create and edit notes, including adding notes to highlighted words, writing notes on eBook pages, deleting notes and sorting notes. Notes are also called comments. Notes can be searched or hidden. They can be viewed as part of the eBook or separately. Access Notes from the "Home" menu as well.

Instructions

      Slide the "Power" switch to turn on the Sony Reader. Remove the stylus from the top right-hand corner of the Reader.

      Press the "Home" button to bring up the "Home" screen. Tap the eBook you would like to take notes on.

      Press the "Options" button. Tap "Create/Edit Notes" and tap the "Pen" icon.

      Use the stylus to draw or write notes freehand on the Reader screen. Tap "X" to save the notes.

      Double-tap a word on a book page to highlight the word. Tap "By Drawing" to add a note. A comment box appears. Write the note in the box with the stylus. Tap "Done" when completed.

      Press the "Options" button. Tap "Create/Edit Notes" to display the tool bar. Tap "Notes" to see all of the current notes. Tap a note to see it.
