How to Play in the "Free Realms" on Virtual World
"Free Realms" is a part of Sony's Virtual World massive multiplayer online game website. "Free Realms" is free to play, although paying a monthly fee will get you upgrades. In the game you can decorate your house, invite friends over to visit and battle monsters for items. You can choose from 15 different character classes and design your own character's look. While playing, you can collect a variety of items like spiders, buttons and medals.

Select "Play Now" on the "Free Realms" website. Click "New Players" and choose "Free Play" or "Customize My Character." Select the person you want to play as and click on him or her.

Select the looks for your character in the character creation menu and click "Next." Input your character's name and click "Next." Input a username and password and click "Next." Input your e-mail and agree to the terms of service and click "Next."

Download the browser plugin for your computer and install it on your PC or Mac. Click on the file to install it and follow the installation directions.

Login to your "Free Realms" account on the website and wait for the game to load in your browser window. Click "Play Now" and the game's browsers will load. You may now decorate your house, fight monsters, race cars or just look around the game world.
