How to Update YouTube View Counts
Your YouTube video count automatically reflects the number of times people watch your video. According to the YouTube Help Center, YouTube's Web analytics software often freezes video counts once they reach 300 views. At this point, YouTube performs some additional investigation into the source of views, making sure the audience is human and not an automated script. Once it confirms your video views are legitimate, YouTube starts automatically incrementing the count once again. If your count seems stuck for a long time, you should report the issue to YouTube.
