Sawdust is a natural odor absorber. Mix one cup of sawdust and a half-cup of dry cleaning solvent. Rub the mixture into the mink fur with your fingertips to absorb unpleasant odors. Tips & Warnings
Avoid getting the fur wet during the deodorizing process, as it can exacerbate the smell and ruin the fur.
Because fur is a natural absorbent material, it will absorb odors surrounding it, such as smoke, food and perfume.
