Whether cooking, baking, or just measuring food, there are two differing serving qualifications for dry and wet goods. When substituting in a recipe or measuring an equivalent substance, the servings must often be converted. Convert teaspoons to milliliters. For example, 1 tsp. equals 5 mL.

Turn any tablespoon measurements in the recipe to milliliters. 1 tbsp. equals 15 mL.

Convert any cup measurements to milliliters. 1 cup equates to 250 mL.

Divide volume of milliliters by 29.5735296, as 1 fl. oz. is equal to 29.5735296 milliliters. The resulting amount is the fluid ounce equivalent.

Repeat this division with each individual number. The results are the measurements converted in to wet servings.
