How to Draw an Evil Angel
Tales of fallen angels have been around for centuries. Dark angels make for compelling artwork, because they blend the beauty of the familiar angel with thought-provoking and unexpected imagery. The design of an evil angel is entirely up to the artist. As an artist, you can choose to make your angel male or female, human or monstrous and even beautiful or ugly. The pose that you draw your angel in can have an enormous impact on whether they appear to be a good or evil angel.

1
Outline the shape of the body with a circle for a head, lines for the shoulders and curved lines for the arms. Use small circles to mark where the elbows and hands will be. Draw parallel lines coming down from the shoulders to outline a chest.
-
2
Trace over the body lines to flesh out the body form. Continue drawing below the chest to create a stomach. Outline wings spread out wide behind the body, and detail them with rows of feathers.

3
Add detail lines to show the stretching of muscles in the arms, chest and stomach. Detail a draped garment on the angel by adding lines that move across the body. Use curved lines on the edges of the garment to make the fabric appearing to flowing.
-
4
Detail the angel's head and hands. You can make your angel look evil by drawing his hands clenched into fists and positioning his head to hide his face. If you want to create an evil face, draw eyes that are narrow, with large dark pupils or no pupils at all. Make the eyebrows slant in toward the nose and curve the mouth slightly down into a scowl. Erase the circles and lines you used for your initial outline.
