How to Stream Live Audio on Ubuntu
Ubuntu is an open-source operating system that runs on the Linux kernel and is the most widely used distribution of Linux currently available. Ubuntu was designed to handle many of the same applications as Windows and Mac operating systems, including networking, productivity, video and music applications. Ubuntu comes pre-packaged with the Rhythmbox music player, which can stream most podcasts and live radio stations from the Internet. Live audio streams can be played at work or home on an Ubuntu-powered laptop or desktop computer.
