For example, with an OpenID you can use your Facebook account to log in to any website that uses OpenID. You can sign up for an OpenID and start using the program in just a few minutes.

Instructions

1. Go to the OpenID website (myopenid.com). Click on the "Sign Up for an OpenID" link. Choose a username.

2. Create a password and enter it twice to confirm it was correctly entered the first time. Provide your email address.

3. Read the terms and conditions and then click the box to agree to the terms and conditions. Click "Sign Up." You now have an OpenID account.
