How to Format PowerPoint Presentations
Microsoft PowerPoint's user interface includes the ribbon and tabs, giving you quick access to formatting tools. You can format presentations at any point during their design. This is especially helpful if you've used the wrong formatting throughout a presentation and need to make changes midway. Microsoft PowerPoint uses themes to format presentations quickly. The change is applied to each slide within the presentation. Themes contain the overall design of your presentation, including sets of background designs, fonts, colors and effects. As you hover over a format in the Design tab, PowerPoint gives you a preview of the change to save you time.
