How to Remove a Dock From Tiger

In Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger, along with other Mac OS X operating system versions, the Dock allows you to quickly open applications, folders and files. The Dock is, by default, at the bottom of the main operating window. However, if you find that it takes up too much space, you can remove it temporarily. You cannot permanently remove it, but you can remove it until the mouse hovers over the Dock area.
