How to Disable a Badge Holder
If you have ID card that you must wear at your office every day, then you may have a badge holder to protect the card. A badge holder essentially is a plastic sleeve that resembles a photo or credit card wallet. On the back of the ID holder, you will find a metal clip. To disable the badge holder, you can remove the metal clip.

Place the badge holder on your work space. Turn it over so that the metal clip is facing you.

Pull the metal clip off the back of the badge holder if it is attached by a snap.

Unhook a badge from a lanyard that is serving as a badge holder. The lanyard has a hook with a latch.

Open the latch and unhook the lanyard from the badge.
