How to Increase the Mining Level in "Runes of Magic" Guild Castles
In the free-to-play massively multiplayer online role playing game (MMORPG) "Runes of Magic," mining is one of the gathering professions your hero can learn. Most players choose a profession so that they can build their own items. Other players learn professions so that they can sell raw materials at the market place. Choosing your profession as soon as possible is highly advised. This way, your hero will level up their profession steadily while playing. Although you can learn any profession as an apprentice, you can learn only six as a craftsman. An apprentice at a profession can't level it past 20 while a craftsman can.

Choose a production skill (or multiple production skills) to level up in conjuction with mining. Of the six production skills, alchemy, armor crafting, blacksmithing and carpentry can be used with ores. Return to Varanas once your mining level reaches 40. Here you will speak to Mayen Digg to obtain the quest digging deep. Upon completing this quest you will be awarded the title Adept and can continue leveling mining to level 60. Tips & Warnings
Look at the auction house and see which of the professions' raw materials is selling the highest. Pairing this profession with mining will provide you a steady income.
Although you may find recipes that require the level 61 mining material mica, the master title for mining (which would allow you to mine ore above level 60) has yet to be implemented.
