How to Get Contacts From Facebook

Facebook is a social networking site that helps you keep in touch with friends and family.

While you can contact your friends on Facebook, you can't download their contact information. You could contact each friend individually and ask for their contact information, but that could take time -- especially if you have thousands of friends. If you just want basic contact information about your Facebook friends, the solution is to add the Fonebook Facebook application to your page and download contact information from Facebook to your computer. The Fonebook app transfers contact photos, Web addresses for profiles, status details, company information and address, and birthdays.

Instructions

1. Navigate to Fonebook in the Facebook app directory and then click "Download."

2. Click "Click Once Install."

3. Double-click the Fonebook application from your computer's downloads folder and follow the directions for installation and use.

Tips & Warnings

• When you first start using your Fonebook application, you'll be given a free five-day upgrade to Fonebook Pro. After the trial period, Fonebook will revert to the free version.

• Facebook's terms of service prohibit users from syncing email addresses or phone numbers; if you find an app on Facebook that offers to do this, don't use it as you could find your Facebook account shut down.
