How to View Past Statuses on Facebook
Although the site's interface has changed dramatically since its beginnings, Facebook continues to provide a forum for reading and writing status updates as its primary feature. When a user posts a status update, the text, link or video posts to the user's wall, where it becomes accessible to friends or users within their network. Additionally, users may choose to delete past status updates to remove them from their wall. Whether you may view a user's past status updates depends on her security preferences and your relationship to her on the site.
