"PCSX2" is a PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator that lets gamers play PS2 titles on their computer. Although some games are incompatible with the "PCSX2" architecture, others are fully playable. "Shadow of the Colossus" is an adventure role-playing game that the "PCSX2" can emulate from beginning to end. The game is hardware intensive, and players need a high-end computer to play at full capacity. Otherwise, getting it to run on the computer is a straightforward process.

Download and install "PCSX2." It's free.

Start "PCSX2" and follow the on-screen instructions to configure it to your system. When you map the controls to your keyboard, write them down on a sheet of paper for easy reference.

Insert the "Shadow of the Colossus" play disc into your computer's DVD-ROM drive.

Click "File" and then "Play from disc." The game will load, and so long your computer has the proper requirements, you can enjoy the entirety of "Shadow of the Colossus."
