The Internet is a powerful tool that consumers use to find information about any given business. There are various sites that enable you to report businesses for their scamming or dishonest practices. The Better Business Bureau (BBB) is an organization where consumers can leave complaints about a business. This can be damaging to a business' reputation and can ultimately affect sales. To improve your customer service and keep a good reputation it is important to know what consumers are saying about your business. You can check if any complaints have been filed through the BBB website.

      Navigate to the Better Business Bureau's "Search BBB Business Reviews" webpage.

      Enter your business name, type, URL or phone number in the text field under, "Search For." This text field is displayed in the upper-left region of the BBB page.

      Enter the city and state, or the postal code where your business is located in the text field, "In."

      Click the "Search" tab and your business name will be displayed in the lower region of the page.

      Click on your business name and you'll be redirected to your business' BBB profile that displays your business' information and complaints.

      Scroll down your BBB business profile page until you find the heading "Customer Complaint History for (your business name)." All the complaints filed for your business will be displayed there. Click the "Detailed View" tab to view a detailed list of the complaints, or click the "Chart View" tab to view a basic chart on your business.
