Returning a package to FedEx is easy.

FedEx is one of the world's more reliable shipping companies. FedEx is also a convenient location as their stores contain a large variety of office supplies which enable you to walk into a location with an item, and pick up everything necessary to ship it. If you ever find that you purchased too many of one item, you can return it without a problem. Whether you are returning an unneeded office supply, or returning a package to ship, the process is made simple through FedEx.

Instructions

  1. Return Office Supply

    • 1

Bring item back to your local FedEx office along with the purchase receipt. You must bring the item back in it's original packaging, within thirty days of the date of purchase.

    • 2

Tell the FedEx worker that you want to return the item. Explain why you want to return it; ie. you no longer need it, you purchased the wrong thing, the item doesn't work, etc.

    • 3

Fill out a return form for the item. Some FedEx stores require only a signature to return the item while others require your name and address. Sign for the return, and collect the returned funds.

    Return Shipment Item

    • 4

Seal the return item box. Tape along all seams to close the box completely and securely. The box should not be able to come open just from movement.

    • 5

Place the return label onto the package. Cover the original label to avoid confusion on the part of the delivery person. The return label is usually included with the package if the sender expects or anticipates a return. If the return was not expected, a company may send it through email or a separate mailing.

    • 6

Drop the package off at a FedEx location. You can place the box in a typical drop off box or you can place the box personally with a desk clerk in FedEx.
