How to Run Faster on Campaign in "Halo: Reach"

To run faster than the default speed in the "Halo: Reach" campaign mode, players must equip the Sprint armor ability module. This ability grants short bursts of increased running speed that is very useful for outmaneuvering the enemy. You will start some missions with this armor ability already equipped, but sometimes you will have to find it. The Sprint armor ability can be identified by its icon, which depicts a figure in a running stance with a long stride.

Instructions

1. Stand next to a Sprint armor ability module.

2. Hold down the "RB" button until the Sprint armor ability icon appears above your radar in the lower-left side of the screen.

3. Move in any direction and then hold down the "LB" button to sprint.

Tips & Warnings

• You can only sprint for a limited time, then the ability must recharge.

• You lose the ability to sprint when you equip another armor ability module.
