How to Track Someone on MSN Live
MSN Live, also known as Windows Live Messenger, is an instant messaging program that allows you to talk to contacts around the world. The latest version of MSN allows you to view the activity of the friends in your contact list by switching to "full view" -- this includes status updates, display pictures, game scores, videos and links. If you select a specific contact, only his activity will be shown.

Open Windows Live Messenger. Enter your login details. Click "Sign In."

Click the icon at the right end of the toolbar -- it's a small, gray square. This switches your MSN to full view, displaying the updates of all contacts in your list.

Scroll through your contact list to the contact you'd like to track. Right-click the contact and select "Social Updates" to display all of her MSN activity.
